Twin Daggers

Did you know that Kyle MacLachlan's two dogs have their own webpage? You read right, you can gaze to your heart's content at Mookie and Sam and their dog friends, read their bios, and even watch them get up to some general tomfoolery in their own tv show. Such an adorablely canine-centric website would once have seemed out of character to fans of MacLachlan, long known as a man who forged his career in such works as Dune, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, and Showgirls. However, recent roles in Sex and the City and the upcoming Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 may well reveal a new, softer aspect of this many-sided actor, who has apparently not been hardened by his many years of Lynchian collaborations.

The necessary tools for a great night at home: Twin Peaks DVDs, coffee, and a piece of pie (cherry would be a classic choice, but any beloved filling will do. Vanilla ice cream can also be thrown into the mix, as well as friends/family, if one so desires). If you have grown tired of repeated Twin Peaks viewings (though at least one Waterfront Video employee finds that prospect highly unlikely), or if you would rather look at pie than eat it, some ideas for food-related rentals are:

Trivial Trivia: Russ Tamblyn, who plays Dr. Jacoby in Twin Peaks is Amber Tamblyn's father (Amber stars in both Traveling Pants movies). Small world, eh?!
